EPISODE 25

Helping Women Build Generational Wealth with Brynn Warner

Today is a super special episode because I get to speak to a near and dear friend of mine, a soul sister, a total mom boss babe, and somebody who is genuinely in my corner.

We are talking about all things mom life, having success, maintaining sisterhood, and overcoming struggles in balancing it all.

introducing my girl Brynn Warner!

Brynn is a Sales Manager, Mortgage Lender, and busy mom of 3 juggling all things life and business. Hitting the top 1% production in the nation Brynn is passionate about helping women create generational wealth, and to kickstart our conversation, I asked her to share her story and how she reached her level of success today.

After being a hairstylist for 13 years Brynn decided to pivot in her career and go back to school, discovering her passion for numbers in an accounting class. Although she didn’t see herself focusing solely on accounting at that time, Brynn was determined to find an opportunity that would satisfy a connection with others while also incorporating her love for numbers, leading her to getting her license in mortgage lending.

Throughout the time of our friendship I have been able to see Brynn grow something magnificent first-hand, and I wanted to know – what are some key strategies and tactics that she utilized in building up her business?

Brynn was able to grow quickly in the business world, but noted that it wasn’t until she had some retrospection that she was able to identify what set her apart. Brynn’s business model emphasizes connection with others and education, noting that building confidence and understanding in clients allowed her to grow the network of clientele that she has now. And with her true interest being in helping women build generational wealth, Brynn highlights 3 areas that we should be planning to start our own wealth journey:

  1. Work on purchasing your first home. This is the fastest growing wealth opportunity out there.

  2. If you already own a home – purchase investment properties. Building a portfolio of investment properties is a fantastic way to build wealth, and while it sounds impossible, there are numerous creative options that can lead to rental income for you.

  3. When thinking about where to invest – get with a realtor who is familiar with different areas. Think about areas that you can enjoy when you want and rent out temporarily. Think about college towns or areas that are always in need of properties.

Being a boss babe who is also a mom of 3, I then wanted to gain insight into how Brynn manages to keep it all going outside of the business.

She shares that there are key tools that she lives by that she encourages other women to embrace themselves:

  1. Figuring out a flexible work schedule if possible and prioritizing making memories.

  2. Outsourcing tasks when you need it.

  3. Knowing that schedules will evolve and that it’s important to be open to flexibility and looseness.

  4. Navigating mom guilt by letting go and reminding yourself that if you’re worried about being a good mom, you’re a good mom.

  5. Releasing the need to be perfect in all areas and allowing yourself to be closer to 80% instead of 100%.

  6. Tuning into the ways that you show up instead of the ways you fall short.

  7. Building a support network by utilizing other moms for their help, and not being afraid to create your village.

  8. Not having blindspots and understanding what areas might be holding you back.

As a pioneer in the mortgage lending world and a present mom who is trailblazing for her kids, Brynn teaches us that we too can build the life we want.

“i truly believe that everybody has the potential and the birthright to do big things in their lives and to be who they are.”
